Prime Minister Narendra Modi Announces Compensation for Road Accident Victims
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakhs for the victims of the Rangareddy road accident.
My thoughts are with the affected people and their families during this difficult time. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured. 2 lakhs from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000: PM @narendramodi
According to ADG Mahesh Bhagwat, the accident occurred between a bus and a tipper, with the tipper reportedly moving at a high speed and ramming into the bus. At least 19 people, including 10 women, 8 men, and a 3-month-old child, have died due to the collision.

The accident happened when the bus, traveling from Vikarabad depot to Hyderabad, collided head-on with the tipper, which was coming from Hyderabad side towards Vikarabad.
