Panthers to Face Wichita Carroll
Great Bend's football team, led by coach Erin Beck, is set to host Wichita Carroll in a second-round 5A showdown at Memorial Stadium.
According to coach Beck,
"It's 5A West playoff time... We're at the point where we'll have to play four quarters. Our kids are fresh and ready to go."
The Panthers have a history of competing against Wichita Carroll, with their first meeting in 2004 resulting in a 42-28 Great Bend win. However, Carroll owns a 5-2 all-time advantage over the Panthers.
