During the fourth T20I between India and Australia at the Carrara Oval in Queensland on November 6, Varun Chakaravarthy secured a vital wicket by dismissing Glenn Maxwell for just 2 runs. This dismissal left Australia struggling at 103/6.
The breakthrough came in the 15th over when Varun bowled a sharp googly that deceived Maxwell. The batter tried to create space and play through the off side but missed completely. The ball clipped the top of the off-stump before landing in the wicketkeeper’s gloves.

A disciplined bowling performance ensured India remained in control. At 17 overs, Australia was 116/8, with Ben Dwarshuis and Nathan Ellis at the crease.
Earlier, India posted 167/8 in their 20 overs after opting to bat first.
