Geomagnetic Storm Update

A G3 (Strong) geomagnetic storm is currently underway. The G3 level was reached at 06/0527 UTC due to ongoing influence from a coronal mass ejection (CME).

Expected CME Impact

A CME is expected to reach Earth as early as Thursday evening, 6 November EST.

Recent Solar Activity

An R3-level event occurred on 4 November at approximately 12:34 EST, originating from Region 4274.

The previous R3 event was recorded on June 19 of this year.
