Wyoming Football Week 6: Powerhouses Hold, Upsets Stir the Standings
Wyoming high school football is heating up, with Sheridan notching its 50th win and Star Valley continuing to roll.
The postseason is approaching, and surprises are emerging across the field. After six weeks of the 2025 season, the win streaks for Sheridan and Star Valley continued with one-score victories.
- Sheridan achieved its 50th consecutive victory with a six-point win.
- Star Valley won by seven points for its 28th consecutive win.
Two ranked teams were upset last Friday:
- No. 5 Natrona County lost to Kelly Walsh in the Oil Bowl, 35-25, marking the Trojans' first victory over the Mustangs since 2016.
- Casper Christian knocked off No. 4 Farson-Eden, 62-45, in 6-man football.
In other games pitting ranked teams against each other, the higher-ranked team won.
The updated standings include all games played through October 11, 2025.
