airBaltic has announced its new daily service connecting Gran Canaria and Molde, operating every Wednesday until early April 2026. The route boosts travel options across the Baltics, Scandinavia, and Central Europe.
This winter, airBaltic offers seven direct routes from Gran Canaria to destinations including Billund (Denmark), Riga (Latvia), Tallinn (Estonia), and Vilnius (Lithuania).
Thoms Ramdahl, Chief Commercial Officer at airBaltic, highlighted, “The new route between Gran Canaria and Molde is expected to attract more Norwegian tourists during the colder months, as they seek sunny, warm destinations. It also allows residents of Gran Canaria to explore Norway’s natural beauty. We thank our partners in Gran Canaria for supporting this expansion, which enhances the island’s European connectivity.”
The flights are operated using Airbus A220-300 aircraft, which feature wider seats, larger windows, and more space for hand luggage.
The flight duration between the two locations is approximately 5 hours and 40 minutes.
