Sharks Rout Seattle Kraken as Macklin Celebrini Sets New NHL Record
The San Jose Sharks delivered their strongest performance of the season on Wednesday, defeating the Seattle Kraken 6-1 at Climate Pledge Arena. Six different players found the back of the net, and goalie Yaroslav Askarov impressed once again with a solid showing in goal.

Macklin Celebrini led the charge with a goal and two assists, while Will Smith, John Klingberg, and Tyler Toffoli each recorded a goal and an assist. The Sharks have now won five of their last eight games and handed the Kraken their first home regulation loss of the season.

The Sharks (5-6-3) also earned a 5-2 win over the New Jersey Devils on October 30, while their other victories this season came in overtime. Askarov stopped 36 shots in a 3-2 overtime win against the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday. Against Seattle, he posted another 28 saves, split evenly across the game’s three periods, as San Jose improved to 3-3-0 on the road.
