The International Chess Federation (FIDE) announces that the 2025 FIDE World Women’s Team Championship will be held in Linares, Spain, from November 17 to 24, 2025. The world’s top national women’s teams will compete for the prestigious World Team Champion title.
This marks the second time Spain hosts the championship, following the successful 2021 event in Sitges (Barcelona). The latest championship took place in Bydgoszcz, Poland, in 2023.
