Indianapolis Woman Dies in Bartholomew County Crash

A 35-year-old Indianapolis woman, Amanda Seguin, died Sunday night after a crash on Interstate 65 in northern Bartholomew County.

According to the Indiana State Police, the single vehicle crash occurred at about 10:30 p.m. near the Edinburgh exit. Seguin suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Bartholomew County Coroner’s Office.

Troopers reported that Seguin was driving northbound when she lost control, left the roadway, and crashed into a concrete barrier. Her vehicle then continued down an embankment, flipped over, and Seguin was thrown from the crash. Authorities believe she was not wearing a seatbelt.

Despite lifesaving efforts, Seguin was pronounced dead at the scene.
