New Toronto Transit Station to Open Soon
A new station serving GO Transit's Kitchener Line and UP Express is set to open in weeks.
Metrolinx announced that the Mount Dennis GO and UP Station will welcome its first riders in November.
The station is part of the Mount Dennis transit hub, which will include a connection to the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, expected to open as the TTC's Line 5 - Eglinton.
The opening of the GO and UP Express station was expected to coincide with the Crosstown project, but it will now open independently.
No opening date has been announced for the Crosstown project, which has experienced another hiccup in its final testing phase.
