A fatal crash occurred in Sycamore Township, Ohio, on Monday afternoon, involving a semi and a car with two occupants, a 76-year-old man and a 71-year-old woman.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, the car's driver pulled into the right shoulder due to a flat tire on SR-126 near the 30-mile post at around 12:30 p.m. and was subsequently hit by a semi, forcing the car off the road.

The male occupant was taken to Bethesda North Hospital, where he later died. The semi driver was also hospitalized for minor injuries. Authorities noted that everyone involved was wearing seat belts, and neither speed nor alcohol is suspected to have contributed to the crash.

The incident is still under investigation. The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information to contact the Traffic Unit at 513-825-1500.
