With Season 4 nearing its conclusion, NetEase has started hinting at what’s coming next for Marvel Rivals. The developer dropped a subtle teaser that seems to reveal the new heroes joining the game in Season 5.
The last month has been an active period for the multiplayer hero shooter. Following a successful seasonal event, Marvel Rivals kept its community engaged with a new PvE Zombies mode, which significantly increased player activity. During the Voyage to Astonish event, participants also earned free rewards and a unique MCU Blade skin.
As the current season wraps up, anticipation grows for what’s next. A recent discovery from Miller Ross suggests that two iconic X-Men characters may soon join the roster.
In a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it reveal, NetEase sneakily added the characters to the background thumbnail image of the November 6 patch notes on the official website.
The faint images in the background appear to feature Gambit and Rogue, hinting that the pair are likely to become the next playable heroes when Season 5 launches.
