Megyn Kelly sharply criticized the Republican Party following its significant losses on Election Day. She accused fellow conservatives of failing to succeed without former President Donald Trump's leadership.
Discussing the election results on "The Megyn Kelly Show," Kelly highlighted major victories for Democrats in California, New Jersey, Virginia, and New York City. She expressed frustration with the Republican Party's priorities in the weeks leading up to the elections.
“The Republican party needs to get its s–t together ASAP,” Kelly said. “I’m really glad we spent the past couple of weeks, as Sean Davis of the Federalist put it, policing some young person’s group chat. What a podcast host said and what the head of a think tank over at Heritage had to say. I’m really glad that the Republicans devoted so much time to that. That was a great move.”
Kelly described Republicans as comfortable with losing, often engaging in complaints rather than effective campaigning.
“The Republicans like to lose. They enjoy when they are embattled and in a losing position and complaining. They do it really well.”
She contrasted this with Trump, whom she called the only strong figure in the party.
“Republicans don’t know how to win. They don’t know who to run,” Kelly added. “They don’t know what to do when daddy’s not there to fly them across the finish line. And that’s just been so obvious.”
Megyn Kelly condemns the Republican Party’s failure to win post-Trump, urging them to reform and focus on effective leadership instead of distractions.
