Fiery Fatal Crash on Highway 29
A speeding driver caused a fatal crash on Highway 29 in Cantonment, resulting in the death of a Cantonment man and serious injuries to two Flomaton residents.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the two-vehicle crash occurred on Saturday night, involving a Chevrolet Equinox SUV and a passenger car. The car, driven by a 28-year-old Pensacola woman, was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed when it crossed over the median and into the path of a northbound SUV.
- The driver of the car was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in critical condition.
- Her passenger, a 30-year-old Cantonment man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
