Fengate has officially begun construction on a new seniors’ residence located at 1105 McCraney Street in Oakville. The groundbreaking ceremony brought together representatives from LiUNA, Fengate, Seasons Retirement Communities, Hi-Rise Group, SG Constructors, and Oakville Mayor Rob Burton.
The 1105 McCraney project is a development by the LiUNA Pension Fund of Central and Eastern Canada, created in partnership with Fengate, Seasons Retirement Communities, and The Hi-Rise Group. It is the first Greater Toronto Area project within the expanding Seasons portfolio.
The Seasons portfolio currently includes 15 retirement residences in Ontario, eight in Alberta, and two in British Columbia, with additional communities under development.
The six-storey residence will include 221 suites, offering Independent Supportive Living and Memory Care options. This aging-in-place model allows residents to remain within one community as their care needs evolve.
Fengate’s approach demonstrates a continued commitment to developing high-quality, accessible housing solutions for Canadians.
The new Oakville seniors’ community at 1105 McCraney marks a major step in Fengate and its partners’ mission to expand accessible, compassionate housing for aging Canadians.
