IUCN Members adopt 20-year Vision and four-year Programme for the Union

IUCN Members Adopt New Strategic Vision

IUCN Members have adopted a new 20-year Strategic Vision and four-year Programme to guide the Union's work up to 2030.

"The world is shifting beneath our feet with startling speed. Biodiversity loss has not been halted, and is converging with climate change, pollution, and inequality in ways never experienced before," said H.E. IUCN President Razan Khalifa Al Mubarak.

Despite the challenges, the IUCN President remains optimistic, believing that the Union has the capacity and collective will to address these complex issues.

The IUCN is the world's largest and most diverse environmental network, with a range of tools, publications, and resources available.
