The Wisconsin State Assembly has passed a bill delaying the enforcement of new commercial building codes to April 2026.
This decision gives developers more time to comply with the new codes, which were adopted by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services earlier this year.
The bill “provides much-needed clarity,” and will implement the new building code on April 1, 2026, said Rep.
